If there is active water anywhere — a storm breach, a burst line, anything still wet — call instead of waiting for the reply. Drying is a race against a 24-to-48-hour clock and those calls go to the front.
While you wait
Two things sharpen the visit considerably. Photograph what you found, with something for scale and the date preserved. And try to recall what the weather was doing when it first appeared — which direction the storm came from narrows the search more than any other single detail.
